Gripper for indoor farming

The young company Organifarms has used a standard component from the GEP2000 series for its BERRY robot to harvest ripe strawberries. The robot was specially developed for picking strawberries. Thanks to the precise and intelligent position detection, the end effector only opens just before the fruit. This prevents damage to the fruit or even the entire plant. The specially developed gripper jaws enable simultaneous cutting and clamping.
